【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofgeneral-purpose(GradeA),low-temperature(GradeB),andhigh-temperature(GradeC)nonrigidvinylchloridepolymertubing,oritscopolymerswithothermaterials,foruseaselectricalinsulation.Forthepurposeofthesetestmethodsnonrigidtubingshallbetubinghavinganinitialelongationinexcessof100%atbreak.Note1ThesetestmethodsaresimilarbutnotidenticaltothoseinIEC60684-2.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard,excepttemperature,whichshallbestatedindegreesCelsius.Valuesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection.Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thetestproceduredescribedmeasurestheresistanceofthetubingtoignitionorthespreadofflameafterignitionwhentestedunderthespecifiedconditions.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Theeffectofelevatedtemperatureisindicatedbythechangesinultimateelongationandweightcausedbyexposureofthetubingtoelevatedtemperaturesforaspecifiedtimeundercontrolledconditionsofaircirculation.
