【摘要】:Carbonandhydrogenvaluescanbeusedtodeterminetheamountofoxygen(air)requiredincombustionprocessesandforcalculationoftheefficiencyofcombustionprocesses.Carbonandhydrogendeterminationscanbeusedincalculationsincludingmaterialbalance,reactivityandyieldsofproductsrelevanttocoalconversionprocessessuchasgasificationandliquefaction.Carbonandnitrogenvaluescanbeusedinmaterialbalancecalculationsemployedforemissionaccountingpurposes.Note28212;Thebulkcompositionofcoalchangesataratethatvariesfromcoaltocoalduringstorage.Asaresultusingcoalforcalibrationcanyieldincorrectestimatesofcarbon,andhydrogencontentinparticular.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheinstrumentalthedeterminationofcarbonintherangeof54.9%m/mto84.7%m/m,hydrogenintherangeof3.25%m/mto5.10%m/m,andnitrogenintherangeof0.57%m/mto1.80%m/mintheanalysissample(7.1)ofcoal.Note18212;ThecoalsincludedintheinterlaboratorystudyemployedtoderivetheprecisionstatementforthisstandardcoverASTMrankligniteAtolowvolatilebituminous.AdditionalinformationconcerningthecompositionofthesecoalsappearsinAnnexA5.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
